A lot is spoken about Infra Red Night Vision - but few people are aware that the majority of Infra Red illuminated CCTV footage is not usable for identification of suspects. Common problems are: IR too weak on distance but..too strong for close up suspects, which causes..over-illumination of faces causing loss of facial marks, even showing the face as a white blur. Dynamic Domes avoid this common problem.
